Mosel-Camping with friends!

Welcome

Our campsite on an idyllic peninsula is located in the middle of the beautiful Moselle landscape – surrounded by vineyards and water. A place where camping close to nature meets genuine hospitality. Whether in a tent, mobile home or caravan: everyone is welcome here – according to the motto “Camping with friends”.

Families, couples, solo travelers and cyclists will find not only a place to stay, but also to feel good. Look forward to relaxing days by the water, mild evenings with a view of the Moselle and a warm atmosphere.

  • The drinks are cold…
  • The laughter is loud…
  • Friendship is free…!

Ideally located

Nehren on the Middle Moselle

Our four-hectare campsite is ideally located in one of the most scenic areas of the Middle Moselle. Centrally located between Cochem and Zell on the Moselle cycle and hiking path.

Since our site was built on a peninsula, it is surrounded by water on both sides. The idyllic camping island is the right place to recharge your batteries and an ideal place for an eventful and stress-free vacation.

The picturesque surroundings invite you to hike and experience nature. In the immediate vicinity there is a large number of historical sites and tourist attractions. These include horse riding and carriage rides, swimming pools, tennis, golf, mountain biking, fishing, water sports, Moselle boat trips and much more!

Everything is there for carefree vacation days! The campsite offers electricity and water connections, a supply and disposal station for mobile homes, a washing machine and dryer, as well as a cozy beer garden with a large terrace and beer cart. In the kiosk you will find the most important things that you might have forgotten as a camper. There is also delicious coffee and our legendary homemade cake. A practical bread roll service completes the service for daily well-being. A snack bar on site takes care of the most urgent hunger.

Anglers get their money’s worth as well as boat enthusiasts, because a boat parking space is available.

The modern, heated sanitary facilities are of course cleaned daily – for maximum comfort and hygiene.

Site rules & opening hours

What should be considered? When is what open?

We warmly welcome all camping guests. Our goal is to make your stay at our campsite as pleasant as possible. In the interest of all camping guests, the following provisions therefore apply:

1. Access to the Campsite

Access is only permitted after registering at reception. Traveling business people with caravans or mobile homes are not welcome during the season.

2. Safety when Using Vehicles

For motor vehicles and bicycles, a “walking pace” of max. 10 km/h applies within the campsite grounds. Driving on the campsite is only permitted for pitch tenants. Each pitch must have space for parking a car. The vehicle must not obstruct other pitch tenants. Vehicles such as trucks and vans that are larger than a normal VW bus must be parked outside.

There is a no-stopping zone in front of the toilets.

Exception: Stopping for boarding and alighting for disabled people.

Riding light motorcycles, mopeds, and roller skates/inline skates is not permitted on the campsite to avoid accidents.

The gas cylinder supply must not exceed 2 bottles under any circumstances. These must be properly secured and connected.

Every vehicle requires a valid gas inspection.

3. Quiet Times

Nighttime quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM and midday quiet hours are from

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. During these times, no motor vehicle may enter the campsite. This also applies when the barriers are open. Furthermore, manual activities are no longer permitted from 8:00 PM.

The lawn may not be mowed during the midday break, as well as on Sundays and public holidays. Parents should urge their children to be quiet during these times. Even on days when nighttime quiet hours are lifted (these days will be announced in particular), excessive noise from radios, CD players, etc. should be avoided.

4. Dogs

Dogs must always be kept on a leash on the campsite. Care must be taken to ensure that they relieve themselves outside the site. Dogs are not allowed in the washing and toilet rooms.

5. General

Everyone on the campsite should behave as they expect from other campers. – Radios, recorders, televisions, and other music devices may only be operated at such a volume that the neighbor is not disturbed.

The boundaries of the neighboring property must be respected; caravans or tents may therefore only be set up with a distance of at least 50 cm from the neighbor’s boundary.

Lawn grid pavers should be used for the lane when setting up the caravan with awning. Splitting is permitted under the caravan and awning, but it should not be visible laterally by more than 10 cm.

Wastewater from caravans and tents must not be discharged into the ground. We ask that you visibly attach the pitch number. This is the only way we can determine your address in order to send you a message in particularly urgent cases.

The installation of television antennas and all other facilities not belonging to the normal caravan or tent equipment, fixed extensions and attachments, as well as canopies are only permitted with the prior consent of the site management.

6. Planting

Since excessive planting could change the character of a campsite, these are only allowed with the consent of the site management.

The removal and pruning of hedges, shrubs, and trees is only permitted with the permission of the groundskeeper. All plantings are at the expense of the pitch tenant. These facilities may not be removed when the pitch is abandoned.

Artificial enclosures, fences must not be higher than 70 cm, and fixed superstructures on the caravans and tents are not permitted. The lawn must be mowed regularly. If the pitch tenant does not comply with this obligation despite being requested to do so, the landlord is entitled to have the lawn mowed for a fee of €60.00.

7. Visitors

The pitch tenant(s) and those entitled to use the pitch free of charge (his/her children under 18 years of age) must ensure that their guests leave the site by 11:00 PM or pay overnight fees. Visitors’ vehicles are not allowed to enter the site. Should the absence of proof of payment of the overnight fee be repeatedly determined during an inspection, the termination of the pitch must be expected.

8. Toilets and Showers

Every camper should feel jointly responsible for the cleanliness of the toilets and showers. Children up to 6 years of age may only use the toilets and showers when accompanied by adults or older children.

9. Waste Disposal

Camping waste, i.e. daily waste, must be stored in the waste container. Bulky waste (large packaging, refrigerators, grills, chairs, etc.) must not be stored in the waste containers. The disposal of bulky waste is the responsibility of the pitch tenant. Glass bottles can be disposed of at the glass container.

10. Electricity Connection

The camper must ensure that only a proper cable (3 x 1.5 mm) without intermediate plugs is used that is laid over the floor. An underground cable can be buried.

11. For Special Attention

The camping year begins at the beginning of April and lasts until the middle of October.

12. Exceptions to the Site Rules

Exceptions to the validity of these site rules exist for the site management in the event of work to be carried out, including the vehicles required for this. Furthermore, the campsite rules do not apply in emergencies (sudden illnesses, etc.).

13. Exercise of the Right of Domicile

The landlord or his representatives are entitled to refuse the admission of persons or to expel them from the site in the exercise of the right of domicile if this appears necessary to maintain safety and order on the campsite and/or in the interest of the camping guests.

Please note the special notices on the notice board in front of the building.
